Food Safety
D'Arcys is registered with our local authority, we hold RSPH level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety
in Catering, as well as the basic Food and Hygiene Certificates and we readily comply with the Safe Food Better
Business Scheme. We have refrigerated vans for safe transport of food.
Each
business is given a ‘hygiene rating’ when it is inspected by a food safety
officer from the business’s local authority. The hygiene rating shows how
closely the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law.
In February 2011 we were awarded the highest level 5
Food Hygiene rating by Horsham district council. 

Insurance

We hold Comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, Employers
Liability and Products Liability Insurance.
Environmental Issues
Sarah holds a Diploma in Environmental Modelling, Monitoring and Control (Pollution
Control).
Therefore has an excellent understanding of environmental issues from carbon foot print to all
mitigation procedures related with pollution control.
Regional Suppliers
Our food is served to a high standard therefore our ingredients
must reflect this,
so we source from regional quality trusted suppliers.
We use free range eggs, mainly locally farmed meats and prefer to
use seasonal produce.
We use sustainable fish and we do not use Tuna.
